Consulting, laboratory and technical application support

We advise you on the selection of suitable products for gas and air cleaning applications, water purification and waste water treatment, decolourization tasks and other applications. Moreover, we offer application support and assist you in sizing your activated carbon adsorption systems. For special liquid- and gas-phase activated carbon applications, we provide pilot plants and the associated onsite testing services to establish the optimum activated carbon grade and operating parameters for the design of commercial-scale adsorption systems.

Activated carbon testing and evaluation

In our in-house laboratories, we test and analyze spent and reactivated carbons for our customers using proprietary test methods as well as national and international test protocols. Furthermore, all virgin carbons, impregnated and specialist activated carbon grades are subjected to rigorous quality testing in our laboratories.

Development of new activated carbon products

To establish the basis for the development of new activated carbon products, we work closely with our customers to identify the required product properties and define the specific requirements. Product development is then carried out in cooperation with competent partners having access to the required raw materials and activation processes. Our contributions to such development partnerships comprise extensive support in raw material selection and evaluation, advice on process and plant technology, analytical support by our laboratories through to product design support.
